Farnborough FC have strengthened their midfield with the signing of 28-year-old English-Ghanaian midfielder Wesley Fonguck from Ebbsfleet United for the remainder of the season.
He arrives at the Saunders Transport Community Stadium as the club looks to push on in the final months of the National League South campaign.
Born in Lambeth, Fonguck came through Crystal Palace’s youth system before spells at Croydon and then Barnet, where he became a mainstay.
He made 121 appearances for the Bees, scoring 12 goals and gaining valuable experience in League Two and the National League, alongside loan stints with Hendon and Hampton & Richmond Borough. He has also been capped twice by England C, starting in a 1-0 win over Estonia U-23 in 2018.
After leaving Barnet, Fonguck joined Southend United in 2022, later moving to Ebbsfleet in 2024 and enjoying an 11-month loan in the United States with Monterey Bay.
Manager Spencer Day described him as an experienced 8/10/11 who will add much-needed competition in midfield and confirmed he will wear the number 10 shirt.
