Asante Kotoko are considering a possible return of Prosper Nartey Ogum as the club moves to appoint a new head coach.
Sources close to the club have revealed that management has set up a three-member committee tasked with identifying and recommending a suitable candidate for the vacant role. Ogum has emerged as one of the leading names under consideration.
The former Kotoko trainer, who previously guided the Porcupine Warriors to domestic success, is believed to be highly regarded within the club’s hierarchy. His understanding of the team’s structure and the Ghana Premier League is said to be a key factor in the ongoing discussions.
According to information gathered, the committee is currently reviewing several options, with Ogum firmly in contention as Kotoko seek stability and a strong technical direction ahead of the new season.
