Swiss club has confirmed the signing of Ghanaian defender Daniel Asiedu to fill the gap left by compatriot Jonas Adjetey.
Adjetey recently completed a €9 million move to German Bundesliga side during the winter transfer window, prompting Basel to bring in Asiedu as a replacement.
The club hopes the promising defender will strengthen their backline and continue the standard set by Adjetey, while Asiedu’s arrival adds fresh talent and depth ahead of key domestic and European fixtures.
