Aduana FC and Hohoe United shared the points after a goalless draw in Week 23 of the Ghana Premier League at the Nana Agyeman Badu I Park.
Aduana FC were unable to turn dominance into goals as Hohoe United held firm to secure an important away result.
The home side, who came into the match unbeaten in their last four games, controlled possession from the start and dictated the pace.
They patiently built their attacks and spent long periods in the opponent’s half. However, clear scoring chances were limited as Hohoe remained compact and disciplined in defence.
After the break, Aduana increased the intensity and pushed more players forward in search of a breakthrough. Despite the pressure, Hohoe’s goalkeeper and defenders made key interventions to keep the score level.
Hohoe, battling to move away from the relegation zone, showed determination and occasionally threatened on the counterattack, though they could not seriously test the Aduana defence.
In the end, both teams settled for a point. The result extends Aduana’s unbeaten run but will feel like a missed opportunity at home, while Hohoe will take confidence from a hard-earned draw in their fight for survival.
