Young winger John Batigi gave AC Horsens a bright start after opening the scoring in their Danish 1st Division clash. The 19-year-old left winger showed sharp movement and confidence in front of goal, finishing calmly to hand his side the early advantage.
Batigi’s goal lifted Horsens and put them in control during the first half. His pace and attacking energy caused problems for the opposition defence, and he looked lively whenever he got on the ball. The early strike raised hopes that Horsens could go on to secure an important result.
However, the game changed after the break. Esbjerg fB returned for the second half with renewed determination. They increased the pressure, created more chances, and eventually found the equaliser. With momentum on their side, Esbjerg continued to push forward and later scored a second goal to complete the turnaround.
The match ended 2-1 in favour of Esbjerg in the Danish 1st Division. Despite the defeat, Batigi’s performance was a positive for AC Horsens. His early goal once again showed his attacking potential and growing influence in the team.
