Ghanaian striker Daniel Afriyie’s contract at Swiss first division side FC Aarau has been extended early by one year until June 30, 2028, due to an option clause.
The 24-year-old Ghanaian joined the club from FC Zürich in the summer on a two-year contract and celebrated a goal on his debut.
The former Accra Hearts of Oak attacker, has so far scored a total of eight goals and provided five assists this season.
Aarau currently sits second in the Swiss Challenge League.
