Ghanaian attacker Ibrahim Osman played a key role in Birmingham City FC’s hard-fought 1-0 victory over Queens Park Rangers FC at St Andrew’s Stadium.
The 21-year-old set the tone early, drifting in from the left and delivering a clever pass for Patrick Roberts, who calmly slotted home in the sixth minute to give Birmingham an early advantage.
Osman continued to trouble QPR’s defence throughout the first half and early second half, stretching the visitors’ backline before making way for Demarai Gray midway through the second period. Birmingham dominated overall, registering 21 shots and creating multiple clear chances while limiting QPR to long-range efforts.
The assist takes Osman’s 2025/26 EFL Championship tally to one goal and one assist in 21 appearances, highlighting his growing influence for the Blues.
Birmingham now look to build on this win as they prepare to host Sheffield United FC at home on Saturday, March 14.
