IMC Chairman Nana Apinkra Akwasi Awua has formally introduced the Asante Kotoko playing body and technical team to the club’s newly appointed board chairman, Mr. James Osei Brown, in a move aimed at fostering collaboration and reinforcing club unity.

The introduction ceremony, attended by key figures in the club’s administration, also saw the presence of former board member Mrs. Evelyn Nsiah Asare, who has been appointed as the board secretary. Her experience and prior involvement with the club are expected to be instrumental in supporting the chairman and ensuring smooth communication between the management, technical staff, and players.

During the event, Chairman James Osei Brown addressed the players and technical team, emphasizing the importance of alignment between the board and team for the club’s short-term and long-term objectives. He highlighted the need for cohesion, discipline, and shared vision to elevate the club’s performance both locally and in continental competitions.

Nana Apinkra Akwasi Awua, in his remarks, reiterated the significance of such introductions in bridging the gap between the administrative leadership and those on the field. He underscored that a close working relationship between the board, coaching staff, and players is vital for translating strategic plans into tangible success on the pitch.

Mrs. Evelyn Nsiah Asare also addressed the team, sharing insights from her previous tenure on the board and assuring them of her support in administrative matters. She encouraged players and technical staff to view the board as a partner committed to creating an enabling environment for success.

The ceremony reflects Asante Kotoko’s broader strategy to ensure effective governance, accountability, and transparency in all aspects of club management. By fostering a strong bond between the board and the team, the club aims to strengthen its competitive edge, nurture talent, and achieve sustained success in domestic and international tournaments.
