IMC Chairman Nana Apinkra Akwasi Awua has formally introduced the Asante Kotoko playing body and technical team to the club’s newly appointed board chairman, Mr. James Osei Brown, in a move aimed at fostering collaboration and reinforcing club unity.
The introduction ceremony, attended by key figures in the club’s administration, also saw the presence of former board member Mrs. Evelyn Nsiah Asare, who has been appointed as the board secretary. Her experience and prior involvement with the club are expected to be instrumental in supporting the chairman and ensuring smooth communication between the management, technical staff, and players.
During the event, Chairman James Osei Brown addressed the players and technical team, emphasizing the importance of alignment between the board and team for the club’s short-term and long-term objectives. He highlighted the need for cohesion, discipline, and shared vision to elevate the club’s performance both locally and in continental competitions.
Nana Apinkra Akwasi Awua, in his remarks, reiterated the significance of such introductions in bridging the gap between the administrative leadership and those on the field.
