Tottenham Hotspur manager Igor Tudor has delivered an encouraging update on Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Kudus, revealing that the 25-year-old is making strong progress in his recovery from a hamstring injury and could return to action in the coming weeks.

Kudus has been sidelined since January, a setback that has impacted Spurs during a challenging spell in their Premier League campaign. However, Tudor confirmed that the midfielder is now back in training and working with the ball, marking a key step in his rehabilitation.

Speaking ahead of Tottenham’s crucial league fixture against Nottingham Forest, Tudor indicated that Kudus is edging closer to a return, with a possible reintegration into the squad within the next couple of weeks.

“He is progressing very well and already training with the ball,” Tudor noted, adding that the club will continue to monitor his condition before making a final decision on his return timeline.

The Spurs boss also provided updates on other injured players, including James Maddison and Rodrigo Bentancur, expressing optimism that the medical team could deliver positive news in the near future.

Kudus’ return would be a timely boost for both club and country. For Ghana national football team, his availability is seen as crucial ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, where the Black Stars have been drawn in Group L alongside England, Croatia, and Panama.

At club level, Tottenham remain involved in a relegation battle, currently sitting just above the drop zone, making Kudus’ comeback significant as they push for survival in the closing stages of the season.
