Fourteen players have reported to camp as Ghana’s senior national team, the Black Stars, begin preparations for upcoming international friendlies against Austria and Germany.
The initial group, led by captain Jordan Ayew, arrived in Vienna on Sunday to kick off the team’s training programme. Among those already in camp are debutants Daniel Agyei, Marvin Senaya, and Patric Pfeiffer, alongside Benjamin Asare, Prince Kwabena Adu, Jonas Adjetey, Derrick Köhn, Gideon Mensah, Elisha Owusu, Kwasi Sibo, Jerome Opoku, and Joseph Tetteh Anang.
The remaining invited players are expected to join the squad on Monday as head coach Otto Addo continues his assessment ahead of naming a final squad for the upcoming FIFA World Cup in North America.
Training sessions are set to begin immediately, with both on-field drills and tactical preparations lined up during the camp.
Ghana will first face Austria in Vienna on March 27 before travelling to Berlin for a high-profile clash against Germany on March 31.
As part of their broader preparations, the Black Stars are also scheduled to play additional friendlies against Mexico and Wales in May.
At the World Cup, Ghana will compete in Group L, where they are drawn against England, Panama, and Croatia, setting up a challenging path in the tournament.
