Ghanaian footballer Latif Atta Blessing, the 2016 Ghana Premier League Player of the Year, has officially changed his international allegiance to Niger after years of waiting for an opportunity with the Ghana national football team that never came.
The 29-year-old midfielder was previously named in Ghana’s preliminary squad for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations but did not make the final cut, leaving him without a senior cap for his home country.
After careful consideration, Blessing has chosen to continue his international career with Niger, where he is expected to bring experience and creativity to the national side.
This decision marks a significant chapter in his career, allowing the talented playmaker to showcase his abilities on the international stage and continue his football journey at a competitive level.
