Members of Ghana national football team have reportedly been victims of theft while staying at their hotel in Vienna ahead of their international friendly against Austria.
The team, which began preparations on Sunday with training sessions starting on Monday, encountered the incident after their third training session on Wednesday when two players discovered that Rolex watches worth about $20,000 had been stolen.
The situation was further compounded on Thursday when a member of the technical team realised that $2,250 in cash was also missing.
The incident has raised concerns within the camp as the team continues preparations for the upcoming fixture, with authorities expected to investigate the matter to determine how the theft occurred.
