Hakim Sulemana delivered a brilliant all-round performance on Sunday to be named Most Valuable Player as Hillerød Fodbold came from behind to defeat Lyngby BK 2-1 in the Danish second division.

The 21-year-old winger was central to everything positive for Hillerod, combining pace, direct running, and creativity to constantly trouble the opposition defence.

Lyngby took the lead in the 21st minute through Lauge Sandgrav, but Sulemana responded at a crucial moment, scoring just before half-time with a composed finish to restore parity and shift momentum.

Even beyond his goal, Sulemana remained a constant attacking threat, stretching play and creating space that helped Hillerod dominate key phases of the match.

His decisive influence earned him the MVP award, underlining his growing importance within the squad during his loan spell from Randers FC.

Hillerod eventually sealed the win late on through Poul Kallsberg, who converted after a setup from Tobias Arndal.

Sulemana’s form continues to rise in Denmark, building on his development after representing the Ghana national team at youth level, including success at the 2024 African Games in Accra and the 2025 U20 AFCON.
