German-born defender of Ghanaian descent Joel Asiedu Addo has been officially promoted from the U19 setup to the U23 team of FC St. Pauli ahead of the upcoming Regionalliga Nord season.
The 18-year-old centre-back had already gained experience with the U23 side last season, where he made appearances and adapted to the demands of senior developmental football. His performances have now earned him a permanent place in the squad.
