The Ghana Football Association has announced a new partnership with JAC Motors that will see champions and top performers in Ghanaian football receive brand-new vehicles from the 2026/27 season.
The partnership, officially unveiled in Accra on Tuesday, is aimed at rewarding excellence in the domestic game while boosting motivation among clubs, players and technical teams.
Under the agreement, winners of both the Ghana Premier League and the Women’s Premier League will each be presented with a new vehicle at the end of the season.
Several individual award winners are also set to benefit from the initiative. The Best Player of the Season and Coach of the Season in both leagues will receive vehicles in recognition of their outstanding performances.
The sponsorship package will include different models from JAC Motors, including the JAC JS2, JAC JS4 and JAC JS6.
GFA Vice-President Mark Addo described the partnership as a major step in the Football Association’s efforts to promote excellence and strengthen the development of football across the country.
Chief Executive Officer of Tryton Motors Ltd, Jihad Hijazi, also noted that the collaboration is intended to inspire clubs and players while increasing the profile of domestic football in Ghana.
The latest agreement forms part of the GFA’s wider strategy to attract more corporate sponsorship into local football and improve incentives for clubs, footballers and technical staff.
