Medeama Sporting Club are set to intensify preparations for their upcoming CAF Champions League campaign with plans to hold a pre-season training camp outside Ghana, either in Tanzania or Côte d’Ivoire.
The move forms part of the club’s strategy to ensure the team is fully prepared for the demands of continental football, as they aim to compete strongly against Africa’s elite clubs.
Management is currently evaluating both destinations based on training facilities, quality of opposition for friendly matches, and overall logistics before making a final decision.
The pre-season camp is expected to play a crucial role in building team cohesion, improving match fitness, and fine-tuning tactical approaches ahead of the tournament.
Medeama SC, who recently strengthened their status as one of Ghana’s top clubs, are targeting a strong run in the Champions League and see the overseas camp as a key step in their preparation process.
