Former Black Stars goalkeeper and ex-national team goalkeepers coach Richard Kingston is on the verge of joining Hearts of Oak as the club’s new goalkeepers coach.
Sources indicate that discussions between Kingston and the Phobians have reached an advanced stage, with both parties close to reaching a final agreement.
The deal is expected to be concluded in the coming days, paving the way for the experienced former Ghana international to become part of Hearts of Oak’s technical team ahead of the 2026/27 season.
Kingston brings a wealth of experience to the role, having enjoyed an illustrious playing career with the Black Stars before serving as Ghana’s national team goalkeepers coach. His arrival is expected to strengthen Hearts of Oak’s technical setup as the club prepares for the new campaign.
An official announcement is expected once the final details of the agreement have been completed.
