The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has officially released the fixtures for the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League, setting the stage for another exciting campaign featuring 18 clubs battling for domestic glory.
The new season promises thrilling encounters from the opening weekend through to the final round, with fans already looking ahead to several blockbuster fixtures, including the much-anticipated Super Clash between Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak.
The opening round will see Asante Kotoko begin their campaign away to Debibi United, while Hearts of Oak host Berekum Chelsea. Defending champions Medeama SC will kick off their title defence at home against Port City, as FC Samartex entertain Karela United.
One of the standout fixtures of the season comes on Matchday 13, when Asante Kotoko welcome Hearts of Oak to Kumasi for the first Super Clash of the campaign. The return encounter is scheduled for Matchday 30 in Accra, where Hearts of Oak will host their fiercest rivals.
The fixture list also features several regional derbies and key clashes involving clubs such as Medeama SC, FC Samartex, Dreams FC, Aduana FC, Gold Stars, Heart of Lions, Vision FC, Port City, Young Apostles, Swedru All Blacks, Bechem United, Berekum Chelsea, Karela United, FC Ashantigold, Debibi United, and Basake Holy Stars.
The league will be played over 34 matchdays, with each club facing every opponent home and away before the champion, CAF representatives, and relegated clubs are determined at the end of the season.
Supporters across the country are expected to enjoy another fiercely contested campaign as clubs strengthen their squads in pursuit of the Ghana Premier League title and qualification for continental football.
