Asante Kotoko will begin their 2026/27 Ghana Premier League campaign with a demanding opening run after the release of the official fixtures for the new season.
The Porcupine Warriors will start their league journey away from home against newly promoted Debibi United on Matchday One, before returning to Baba Yara Stadium to host Heart of Lions in their first home fixture.
Kotoko will then travel to face Samartex in another away encounter on Matchday Three, followed by a home clash against Aduana FC on Matchday Four. The Reds will complete their first five league matches with another trip away from home to battle Karela United.
The opening fixtures mean Asante Kotoko will play three of their first five matches on the road, with only two home games during that period, presenting an early test for the team as they aim for a strong start to the season.
The Porcupine Warriors will also be looking forward to the first Super Clash of the campaign, where they are scheduled to face arch-rivals Hearts of Oak on Matchday 13.
With high expectations from supporters and ambitions of challenging for honours, Kotoko’s early performances could set the tone for what promises to be an exciting 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season.
