Ghana Premier League champions Medeama SC are closing in on the signing of midfielder Emmanuel Fobi, with negotiations between both parties at an advanced stage.
The former Meshakhte Tkibuli midfielder is expected to complete a move to the Tarkwa-based club later this week, subject to the successful conclusion of final discussions and paperwork.
Fobi, who previously featured in the Georgian football league, is set to bring international experience and added quality to Medeama’s midfield as the club continues preparations for the upcoming season.
The Yellow and Mauves have been active in strengthening their squad and view the Ghanaian midfielder as a valuable addition to their plans.
Should the deal be completed, Fobi will become the latest player to join Medeama as the club looks to build a competitive squad capable of challenging on both domestic and continental fronts.
