Ghanaian forward Prince Owusu has taken major step in his European career after completing a four-year contract move to Slovak top-flight club DAC 1904 from Azerbaijani side Gabala SC.
The promising attacker joins DAC 1904 after making his professional breakthrough at Gabala, where he earned his first senior deal following an impressive rise through the ranks at Nayan Soccer Academy in Ghana.
Owusu spent several years at the Accra-based academy, emerging as one of its standout talents. His performances played a key role in helping Nayan Soccer Academy secure promotion to the Greater Accra Regional Football Association (GARFA) Division Two League during the 2024/25 season.
The young striker also enjoyed a remarkable campaign in the Ga North Division Three League, where he registered 25 goals and 16 assists in 30 appearances.
His impressive form earned him invitations to Ghana’s U19 and U20 national teams, further underlining his growing reputation.
After moving to Azerbaijan with Gabala, Owusu continued his development in European football before catching the attention of DAC 1904.
The Slovak club have now secured the services of the talented forward as he looks to make his mark in the Niké Liga and continue his journey towards becoming a top European attacker.
