German-born Ghana international Ransford-Yeboah Königsdörffer continued his excellent pre-season form after scoring in Mainz’s convincing 3-0 victory over Holstein Kiel.
The 24-year-old forward found the back of the net once again as Mainz maintained their unbeaten run during their preparations for the 2026/27 Bundesliga season.
Königsdörffer has made a remarkable start to life at the Carnival Club since arriving on a free transfer earlier this summer, scoring four goals in four pre-season appearances.
His impressive goalscoring run has quickly made him one of Mainz’s standout performers during their preparations, with the Ghana international adapting smoothly to his new surroundings.
The attacker’s latest goal will further increase competition for places in Mainz’s attacking department and strengthen his push for a regular starting role when the Bundesliga campaign begins.
With his confidence growing and his finishing already catching attention, Mainz will be hoping Königsdörffer can maintain his current form and translate his pre-season performances into consistent contributions during competitive matches.
