Dutch giants Feyenoord have joined the growing list of European clubs interested in signing Ghana international Caleb Yirenkyi following his impressive performances for FC Nordsjaelland and the Black Stars.
The 20-year-old midfielder has become one of the most sought-after young talents in Europe after an outstanding 2025/26 season and a remarkable showing at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. His performances have attracted interest from Chelsea, Strasbourg and now Feyenoord.
Feyenoord are reportedly monitoring the Ghanaian closely as they look to strengthen their midfield ahead of the new season. The Eredivisie side views Yirenkyi as a player capable of making an immediate impact while also possessing significant long-term potential.
FC Nordsjaelland are understood to value the midfielder at no less than €30 million and have already turned down several offers. The Danish club remains open to negotiations but is unwilling to sell the player below its valuation.
Yirenkyi has made 54 appearances for Nordsjaelland, contributing four goals and eight assists. His maturity, technical ability and versatility in midfield have made him one of Ghana’s brightest emerging stars.
With Strasbourg leading BlueCo’s plans for his development, Chelsea maintaining their long-standing interest and Feyenoord entering the race, the Black Stars midfielder is expected to be one of the most talked-about Ghanaian players in the transfer market before the window closes.
