Ghanaian defender Fard Ibrahim has completed a move to Israeli Premier League newcomers Hapoel Ramat Gan Givatayim FC, signing a one-year contract ahead of the 2026/27 season.
The 26-year-old arrives on a free transfer after ending his short spell with Kazakhstani club FC Irtysh, where he spent four months before opting for a new challenge in Israel.
Hapoel Ramat Gan confirmed the signing on their official channels, welcoming the Ghanaian centre-back to the club.
“New Ordon at Hapoel. Say hello and good luck to Fard Ibrahim, who joined the team’s training and will be available to the professional team tomorrow in the game against Maccabi Netanya.”
Ibrahim has already linked up with his new teammates and is in line to make his competitive debut against Maccabi Netanya in the Israeli Toto Cup.
The former Inter Allies defender brings valuable European experience to Hapoel Ramat Gan, having previously featured for Vejle Boldklub, Isloch, Dinamo Minsk, and most recently FC Irtysh. Renowned for his physical strength, composure on the ball and versatility across the backline, Ibrahim will be expected to play a key role as the club prepares for life back in the Israeli top flight.
