England-born Ghanaian forward Aaron Sasu continued his outstanding pre-season form by scoring twice as AFC Wimbledon produced an impressive display to defeat Queens Park Rangers in a pre-season friendly.
The 21-year-old attacker was the standout performer, showcasing his pace, movement and clinical finishing with a superb brace as Wimbledon continued their preparations for the 2026/27 campaign on a high.
Sasu has emerged as one of the club’s brightest attacking talents during pre-season, with his latest goals further enhancing his chances of securing a regular role in the first team ahead of the new League One season.
A product of AFC Wimbledon’s academy, Sasu enjoyed a breakthrough during the 2024/25 campaign before continuing his development with the senior squad. Known for his versatility across the frontline, the Ghana-eligible forward is capable of operating as a centre-forward or on either wing, using his explosive pace and intelligent movement to trouble defenders.
Last season, Sasu featured in several first-team matches across league and cup competitions while also impressing for the club’s development side, where he consistently contributed goals and assists.
