Ghana Premier League champions Medeama Sporting Club have completed the acquisition of talented midfielder Abdul Jelilu Osman from New Edubiase United FC as part of their preparations for the upcoming football season.
The highly-rated player has signed a three-year contract with the Tarkwa-based club after Medeama reached an agreement with New Edubiase United for his services.
Osman is expected to add more quality and depth to Medeama’s squad as the club looks to defend its Ghana Premier League title and compete strongly in upcoming domestic and continental assignments.
The new signing has already linked up with his teammates and joined the team’s pre-season training camp in Ivory Coast, where the squad is undergoing intensive preparations ahead of the new campaign.
Medeama’s decision to bring in Osman highlights the club’s continued commitment to strengthening its playing squad with promising talents from the domestic league. The club has built a reputation for identifying and developing young players, and Osman’s arrival is expected to provide another option for the technical team.
The former New Edubiase player will now work to impress the Medeama technical handlers and secure a place in the team as they prepare for the challenges ahead.
