Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Benjamin Asare has rejoined the club’s pre-season training camp after representing Ghana at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, marking his return to domestic football preparations ahead of the new season.
The experienced shot-stopper was put through an intensive training session by newly appointed goalkeeping coach Richard Kingston, who has begun working closely with the club’s goalkeepers as Hearts intensify preparations for the upcoming Ghana Premier League campaign.
Asare returns with renewed confidence and valuable international experience after featuring for the Black Stars during the World Cup. His presence is expected to strengthen Hearts of Oak’s squad as the club looks to mount a strong challenge in the new season.
The goalkeeper appeared sharp during the training session, displaying excellent reflexes, composure and command of his area while adapting to the methods introduced by Kingston.
Hearts of Oak supporters will be encouraged by Asare’s return, as the club continues its pre-season programme with the aim of building a competitive squad capable of challenging for domestic honours.
