Juventus have secured the future of Ghanaian midfielder Augusto Sedorf Owusu after extending his contract with the Italian giants until June 2028.
The new deal underlines the club’s belief in the 2005-born midfielder, who has progressed through Juventus’ youth system and is now entering another season with the club’s Next Gen side.
Owusu has already gained valuable exposure to first-team football, having trained and featured with Juventus’ senior squad under coach Igor Tudor during the Club World Cup in the United States.
He is set to continue his development with Juventus Next Gen, the club’s reserve team competing in Italy’s professional football system.
The midfielder enjoyed his first full senior campaign in the 2024-25 season, making 21 appearances across the Serie C regular season, play-offs and Coppa Italia Serie C.
Before establishing himself at the Next Gen level, Owusu came through Juventus’ Under-17 setup. He also spent the 2022-23 season on loan with Reggiana’s Under-19 team before returning to Turin.
Upon his return, he joined the Juventus Primavera squad, where he made 19 appearances and scored one goal before earning promotion to the Next Gen team.
