Aduana FC head coach Samuel Boadu has called on the club’s supporters to turn up in their numbers and continue backing the team as they search for their first win of the season against Karela United this Sunday.
Boadu acknowledged the disappointment following their opening home defeat but believes the setback should not discourage the supporters or the team ahead of the next league fixture.
Addressing the fans, the Aduana FC coach said:
«“What I would tell them is that we really need them. We love them. We respect them a lot. This is a game. This is a home game. It’s the first game that we lost, but that’s not the end of it all.»
«“So they should come in numbers, and we believe that things will change.”»
Boadu is hoping the supporters will respond to his appeal by filling the stands and creating the atmosphere needed to inspire the players against Karela United.
The coach believes the team’s opening defeat should be treated as a setback rather than a reflection of what lies ahead, with Aduana FC determined to respond strongly and get their campaign back on track.
The encounter with Karela United therefore presents Aduana FC with an opportunity to put their first points and victory of the season on the board, while Boadu will be counting on both his players and the supporters to play their respective roles.
