Aduana FC defender Samuel Osei Kuffour believes the Fire Club can build on their impressive victory over Asante Kotoko and continue collecting more wins in the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season.
The Dormaa-based side secured a memorable away victory at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday, defeating the Porcupine Warriors 2-0 in a Week Four encounter.
Goals from Stephen Amankona and Seidu Saana sealed all three points for Aduana FC, while defender Osei Kuffour delivered a standout performance and was named Man of the Match.
Reflecting on the result, the defender said the team was determined to bounce back after suffering a home defeat in their previous fixture and showed great character to secure victory in Kumasi.
“We lost at home in our last match, so we were determined to go away and get our win. If we have an away game, we are always determined because we know playing away in the Ghana Premier League is tough,” Osei Kuffour said.
The Aduana FC centre-back also assured supporters that the players remain committed to working hard as they aim to achieve more positive results throughout the campaign.
“We will continue to work hard and pray to win more games,” he added.
The victory over Kotoko marked an important response for Aduana FC, who are hoping to mount a strong challenge in the new league season.
The Fire Club will now turn their attention to their next fixture against Swedru All Blacks as they look to maintain their winning momentum.
