Ghanaian forward Prince Kwabena Adu has reportedly been demoted to Viktoria Plzeň’s reserve team following an alleged disciplinary breach.
According to reports from Czech media, the 23-year-old striker skipped a mandatory post-match running session after remaining an unused substitute in Viktoria Plzeň’s league match against Mladá Boleslav.
The alleged incident is said to have prompted disciplinary action from the Czech club, with Adu reportedly reassigned to the reserve side.
However, Viktoria Plzeň have not officially confirmed the reported demotion, and the club is yet to issue a statement on the matter.
Adu joined Viktoria Plzeň in August 2024 after spells with Bechem United, Isloch Minsk and Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih, and has since established himself as part of the first-team squad.
The Ghana international will now await further clarification from the club regarding his status as speculation continues over his immediate future.
