Ghanaian winger Nana Ampomah was among the goalscorers as Forge FC cruised to a commanding 5-0 victory over Inter Toronto in the Canadian Premier League.
Ampomah doubled Forge’s advantage in the ninth minute after Noah Jensen had opened the scoring early in the contest, setting the tone for an emphatic display by the hosts.
Forge maintained complete control throughout the match, adding three more goals to seal a comprehensive win that also ended Inter Toronto’s hopes of reaching the playoffs.
The goal marked another positive moment for the 30-year-old Ghanaian attacker, who continues to play an important role for the Hamilton-based club as they push for Canadian Premier League success.
