Former Ghana Premier League Board spokesperson Tamimu Issah Abdul-Rahman has congratulated Emmanuel Newton Dasoberi in advance for landing the top Kotoko job of Administrative manager and according to the former GFA official Dasoberi has what it takes to succeed in his new role in club football.
Asante Kotoko is yet to officially announce the full list of its management members since the appointment of Chief Executive Officer Nana Yaw Amponsah in August this year but is widely known that names such as David Obeng Nyarko, Moses Antwi Benefo and Emmanuel Newton Dasoberi are sure bets to be part of the new leadership of the Porcupine Warriors.
Tamimu has no doubts that the smart football administrator will succeed in Kumasi.
“Without a doubt, Emmanuel Newton Dasoberi is one of the finest brains on the African continent in football administration.” Tamimu Issah wrote.
“To be a CAF Club Licensing and Stadium Instructor at your age clearly shows your worth. You have served the GFA well and everyone in Ghana football knows that. Moving to Asante Kotoko, the biggest club in Ghana, as the Administrative and Operations Manager, is another big chapter and a task I believe you will surmount. Congratulations bro.” he added.
Dasoberi announced his resignation from his role as the Administrative Officer of the Ghana Football Association on Monday morning.
