Ghana star player Thomas Partey scored his maiden English Premier League goal on Friday evening against Aston Villa FC at the Emirates Sports Stadium.
The 28-year-old box-to-box midfielder scored his Arsenal first goal on the 27th minute mark to give the home team the lead.
Partey rose highest in the box to power home Emile Smith-Rowe’s corner kick to head the ball past Argentine goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez.
Aubameyang later scored from a rebound after missing the initial spot kick to make it 2-0 going into the break.
