Ghana international, Abdul Majeed Waris returned to the football pitch once again as his club, Strasbourg played Young Boys in a pre-season friendly game on Tuesday.

Waris, who was also involved in the French side’s first friendly against Basel started the game from the right wing in an attacking trio involving Ludovic Ajorque and Habib Diallo.

The 29-year-old played 61 minutes before being replaced by Dion Moise Sahi as Julien Stephan’s side drew 2-2 with the Swiss outfits in midweek. Adrien Thomasson and Aymeric hmed scored for the French side while Jordan Siebatcheu and Felix Mambimbi were also on target for Young Boys, manged by David Wagner.

The former Porto forward will be hoping his minutes in pre-season is convincing enough to guarantee him more minutes in the 2021/22 season.
