Asante Kotoko midfielder Justice Blay, believes the former Kariobanji Sharks striker will soon start bagging in the goals for the Porcupine Warriors.
He however, wants the fans to be patience with the Ugandan attacker, George Abege, who is yet to make a mark at the club.
Abege joined Asante Kotoko from Kenyan Premier League side Kariobanji Sharks in the summer with huge potentials – having performed superbly well in the Kenyan league.
The fans, however, have not been impressed with his performance but the Medeama-loaned midfielder believes Abege will soon get into his element if the fans exercise a little bit of patience.
“Abege is hardworking, very forceful and tactical,” Blay told Kumasi-based Oyerepa FM.
“He makes sure our work in the midfield is easy,” he added.
“Our supporters should be patient with him, I know he will start scoring soon.”
Kotoko will leave Ghana on Thursday to Tunisia for their Caf Champions League second leg encounter against Tunisian Etoile du Sahel.
Kotoko, goes into the second leg with a 2-0 advantage from the first leg played at the Baba Yara Stadium.
