Veteran centre-back Abeiku Ainnoson is not happy with the halting of the Division 1 league.
The Hasaacas skipper insists the suspension of the league has not helped them especially as they were on fire in Zone 2
“It has really affected us, it’s not been easy. What really pains me is that it has affected our premier league ambition.” Ainooson told Skyypower
“When you look at the players we recruited, the likes of Samuel Afful (Okocha), Sampson Eduku, Theophilus Nyame, Nana Awotwe and others, the form we picked and how determined we were to bring Hasaacas back to the premier league, then the COVID-19 has brought this, that is what pains me.”
“On the part of players too, I think it has affected us, economically it has cost us. Even when we were playing things weren’t good and now that we aren’t playing, it is worse. Everything is in jeopardy.” He added.
