Ghanaian defender Abraham Akwasi Frimpong was on the score sheet for Hungarian champions Ferencvaros Torna Club as they went away to defeat Paksi SE by three goals to one at the Fehervari Uti Stadium on Wednesday night.
The Ghanaian centre back drilled in a fabulous strike in the third minute to hand his side an early lead in the highly-entertaining clash.
The home side came into the game strongly and equalized on the stroke of half time through Janos Szabo before Igor Kharatin restored the lead of the visitors in the 50th minute.
Substitute Isael made it 3-1 for Ferencvarosi with a fine strike in the 86th minute after some wonderful display of attacking football.
Frimpong was very resolute at the back throughout the game as he defended gallantly and occasionally moved upfront to give the midfielders support when needed.
Ferencvaros are now having 32 pots and are leading second-place Fehevar FC by six points despite having two outstanding games.
