Former Berekum Chelsea and Asante Kotoko midfielder Jackson Owusu has made an honest revelation about his academic background during childhood and according to Owusu he was untalented in the classroom but he found his potential on the football field.

Owusu’s case is not different from that of several other footballers who have openly admitted their weakness in academia including the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and in Ghana the examples of many other football stars can be cited.

“Growing up  I wanted to go to school but I realized that me head was not made for school and so I decided to concentrate more on football which has subsequently helped me to become who I am today” he told Opemsour radio.

The tough-tackling midfielder is currently a free agent after leaving Kenya side Gor Mahia and we understand several Ghanaian clubs have asked about his service.
