Aduana Stars succumbed to third home defeat this season after being outplayed by a well drilled Bechem United FC at the Nana Agyemang Badu II Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The home team in recent games have been churning out a series of bad results after their un eaten run.
In the first 15 minutes of the match, it was fairly balanced with no team threatening to score but Bechem United finally took the lead on the 16th minute through centre back Samuel Osei Kuffour after collecting a sweet assist from Abdul Karim to give the away team the lead.
The visitors managed to preserve their lead to finish the first 45 minutes of the match without conceding despite sitting back to watch their opponents dictate the pace of the game in the last ten minutes of the opening half.
Coach Asare Bediako effected two substitutions taking off Hafiz Adams and Emmanuel Gyamfi for Kow Andam and Benjamin Tweneboah hoping get back into the game early in the second half.
Experienced striker, Yahaya Mohammed despite being handed a chance to bring his team back into the game, the striker surprisingly missed the opportunity to put the ball into the open net.
Aduana Stars continued attacking and tried hunting down hunters from all cylinders but their attempts proved futile at the end match.
The Hunters picked all three points with a crucial win in Dormaa to maintain five game unbeaten run and also move to second on the league table with 26 points from 15 matches.
