Aduana Stars needed a 78th minute penalty by Yahaya Mohammed to defeat Great Olympics at the Nana Agyeman Badu Park on Sunday afternoon.
Samuel Ashie Quaye opened the scoring in the 51st minute before the in-form midfielder Falavien Kouassi pulled parity for the home sides six minutes later.
Yahaya Mohammed converted a 78th penalty to win the game 2-1 for the team of Samuel Fabien. The goal represents the fourth target for the prolific striker.
Aduana Stars are now 8th on the league standings with 10 points whilst Great Olympics settle at the 6th place with a point more.
