Aduana Stars defender Caleb Amankwaa, has jabbed match organisers for always choosing Asante Kotoko and rivals Hearts of Oak in every event.
The glamorous Ghanaian clubs will battle at the Barnett stadium in London on Saturday March 7, to commemorate Ghana’s 63rd independence day.
However, Amankwah says the organizers have not been fair to the other clubs since they are equally in good shape to honour such matches.
The former WAFA right-back who was livid in an interview with Kumasi-based Silver 98.3 FM, said “Now football is not based on one side, it’s rotational because every team is doing so well.
“Maybe they (organisers) might not see Aduana Stars as a top club but currently Aduana is the defending league champions so you cannot tell me we are not on top”
“They always look at Kotoko vs Hearts, but it shouldn’t be like that, they must consider other clubs to encourage those players too.”
