Ghana Premier League side Aduana Stars are set to appoint David Duncan as head of the club, SportsWorldGhana.com has gathered.
The former Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko Trainer will succeed Japanese Kenichi Yatsuhashi who parted ways with the Dormaa based club following a poor showing in the CAF Champions League.
Many top coaches have been linked with the two time league champions since Kenichi’s departure but Duncan is believed to be the overwhelming favourite for the job.
Information gathered by our outfit has it that Aduana Stars owner Nana Osagyefo Agyemang Badu sees Duncan as the only candidate suitable for the position.
Although Duncan did not apply for the job, the club’s management have held series of meetings with him and are convinced he can help them improve.
The deal, when finalize will see Duncan back into active coaching since leaving Asante Kotoko two years ago.
