Two Black Stars players namely Christian Atsu and Daniel Amartey were named in the CAF Team of the tournament after the four times champions failed to win their fifth AFCON title.
Leicester City defender Daniel Amartey and New Castle winger Christian Atsu were named among the eleven best players at the tournament following their outstanding performance for coach Avram Grant’s side who once again disappointed Ghanaians after failing to win the trophy for the fifth time.
