Head coach of the Atlas of Morocco, Vahid Halilhodžić says there is no small ream on the continent.
The North African giants have been paired against minnows Comoros, giants Ghana and perennial underachievers Gabon in Group C of next year’s AFCON in Cameroon and their boss maintains that they will not take any team lightly.
“There is no small team in the African Cup and that it is necessary to prepare diligently for the three matches in the group.” He told the Moroccan Federation Website.
“Morocco’s goal in the competition remains to go far, and this begins with qualifying first to the second round of the competition.” He added.
Morocco have won the AFCON just once in their history.
