Black Stars coach Charles Akonnor has dropped Hearts of Oak defender Mohammed Alhassan and seven other players from his initial squad who began training for the 2021 African Cup of Nations Qualifiers against South African and Sao Tome and Principe.
The former Ghana captain has named a new list of twenty-six players including China-based duo Mubarak Wakaso and Emmanuel Boateng to report to camp on Thursday 25th February, 2021 in Accra.
Alhassan together with Ebusua Dwarfs duo Benjamin Acquah and George Asamoah and Techiman Eleven Wonders winger Ibrahim Salifu were left out of the new squad.
The Coach also left out all the three players invited from the Division One League.
The players will report at the M-Plaza Hotel in Accra at 10 am on Thursday, February 25, 2021.
