Ghana’s U-20 team, Black Satellites will battle the Young Scorpions from Gambia for a place in the final on Monday evening.
The Black Satellites defeat the Young Loins of Cameroon for a place in the semi-final on Thursday evening after winning 4-2 on penalty shootouts after 1-1 stalemate at the end of 120 minutes.
The Gambians on the other hand thrashed Central Africa Republic by 3-0 on Friday evening and have now booked a date for a semi-final clash against Ghana.
In their previous encounter in the ongoing CAF U-20 tournament in Mauritania, the Young Scorpions beat Ghana 2-1 to progress to the quarter-final stage of the competition.
The two teams will square off again in the tournament when they meet on Monday for a place in the final as they continue to push for the ultimate.
