Coach Ibrahim Tanko has chosen the Norwegian-based enforcer to lead his side as they seek to dismantle Togo in Kumasi to secure qualification to the next phase even before the reverse leg in Lome.
The Black Meteors will be hosting their Togolese counterparts on Tuesday in the first leg at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium before the return leg in Lome four days later.
The former Inter Allies star has been named in Ibrahim Tanko’s 21 man squad for the match.
The 20 year old is joined by Frank Arhin,Osman Bukari, Kwabena Owusu, Evans Mensah, Gideon Mensah, Joel Fameyeh as the foreign contingent in the squad.
Twum, captained the Black Stars B’ team to win the 2017 WAFU tournament before earning a move to Norway to sign for IK Start.
The winner of this tie will face Gabon in the next round.
