#24 One qualifier outstanding: Benin or Sierra Leone
After the final Group L game between Benin and Sierra Leone was postponed due to the former side refusing to accept their positive coronavirus test results, one of the 24 qualifiers remains outstanding.
If the match is played, then Benin need to avoid defeat in order to qualify.
However, if Caf decide that – due to Benin refusing to accept the test results – the match will be awarded in Sierra Leone’s favour, then the resulting 2-0 home win would be enough to take the Leone Stars through.
