The General Manager of Ghana Premier League outfit Nsoatreman FC, Eric Alagidede, has declared his team’s readiness to represent Ghana in the 2024/25 CAF Confederation Cup campaign.

The Nsoatre-based club secured their spot in the prestigious competition after clinching the FA Cup title on Sunday.

In a thrilling final match, Nsoatreman FC came from behind to beat Bofoakwa Tano 5-4 in a penalty shootout, after the game ended 1-1 in regular time. The victory marked a significant milestone for the club, and Alagidede is confident that his team is ready to take on the best teams in Africa.

“It’s a great feeling winning the FA Cup. I’m short of words. God has been good. Africa is not a big deal. We are ready. Dreams FC have shown us that it is possible and I think we will do our best to represent Ghana and the nation well” he said.

Alagidede joined Nsoatreman FC as General Manager before the start of the 2023/24 season and has made a significant impact in his first season. His leadership and guidance have been instrumental in the team’s success, and he is now looking forward to guiding them through their maiden campaign in the Confederation Cup.

As winners of this year’s FA Cup campaign, Nsoatreman FC will receive a prize money of GHC180,000, which will be a significant boost to their preparations for the upcoming season. With their confidence high and their sights set on making a strong impression in the Confederation Cup, Nsoatreman FC is ready to take on the best teams in Africa.
